Long BIo
Felicia Sabartinelli is a multi-talented thirty-something that can be best described as a modern-day Renaissance woman.  Her resume & list of achievements include many areas, including poetry, playwriting, memoir & personal essay writing, travel & lifestyle writing, mixed media artwork, acting, and media production.

Since a young age, Felicia's life has been centered around the creative arts. It started with a passion for dancing, singing songs, and putting on skits for family and friends. Soon it morphed into writing cathartic & experimental poetry as a means of self-expression. Today, her poetry has been published with national & regional poetry anthologies such as; Fearsome Critters, Lucky Jefferson,
The Ocotillo Review and Word Up.

Her first taste of publishing came when she was just fourteen when a regional paper published her thoughts (from an essay) about the Columbine Shooting. “That really changed things for me. It was the first time that I realized I had a voice & that voice could reach out to others.”  Her published words made it all the way to the White House where Bill Clinton wrote a letter thanking Felicia her for her input. “That letter was stolen from me just a few years ago but it still holds a very special place in my heart.”

Connecting with the audience is very important to Felicia and she's continued to do that through her personal essays on miscarriage, marriage + divorce, dating, and issues on self-esteem & acceptance. These articles have been widely received and have been featured with Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, Dr. Oz’s: The Good Life, Country Living, Women’s Day, ETC.

In 2018, Felicia used her writing talents to embark on a new area; playwriting. Her first play, The Light & Dark of Matter was chosen for the Manhattan Repertory Theatre’s Short Play Series and opened to rave reviews. The play went on to win awards at the Watermelon One-Act Festival in Maryland. Around the same time she was also a speaker for a TEDx event.

Although writing is a huge part of Felicia’s life she finds time to dedicate herself to her other creative interests; painting, public speaking, and acting.

“Acting has always been another way that I have expressed myself. Storytelling, for me, is about so much more than the written word. It’s how we convey emotion, in all its forms, through words, actions, and visual stimuli.”  As an actress, Felicia has appeared in a variety of plays, films, TV, commercials, and has lent her voice to various media projects.

When Felicia is not performing, you can find her behind the scenes working as a PA, Casting Assistant or Producer. Some exceptional experiences have included working with America’s Got Talent, American Ninja Warrior, and Restaurant Impossible.

Many may know Felicia from her ongoing dedication to allergy awareness & education.  Her journey with Oral Allergy Syndrome has been featured with Allergic Living, NPR, Seventeen, Dr. Oz’s: The Good Life, and many more. “When I began to talk about my allergies, I realized that I was not suffering alone. In fact, I found that there were so many people, around the globe, with whom I shared this with. And I was able to help these people. I never thought my allergies would give me a blessing such as that.”

“When I am not writing, acting, or working on film crews, creativity is a very dominate aspect of my life. I paint. I dance. I do photography & graphic design. I work for a local art non-profit as the Marketing & Events Director. I direct and create unique local art events. And I dedicate myself to the arts, every day, in any way I can.”

Felicia is also a self-described nerd who enjoys science fiction; Star Wars, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Fringe, ETC. She loves to read true-crime novels and celebrity biographies and enjoys traveling, metaphysical and spiritual studies, and comedy.

In the future, Felicia has big goals; “There is so much more I want to do, and every day I am adding something new to my to-do list.  I feel very deeply that I am meant to write and speak, and inspire others. I don’t know what that means yet but I feel like that’s my purpose. But for now, until that happens, I am focusing on finishing my two novels and will let the universe guide me.”
