BIG NewsMarch 2022: In one year, your life can look strikingly different. So much can happen in a short period of time. You can evolve, and new paths can be presented with brand new possibilities. That's been the case for me these past twelve months. And I am so grateful for what's to come.
A year ago, I went back to school and in May of 2022, I will graduate with a Bachelors in Creative Writing & English (with honors). Then, in September 2022, I will embark on my next BIG adventure - starting my post-graduate studies (and possibly my doctorate) in Scotland. That's right - I'm moving to Scotland and changing my life. I'm beyond excited for this new adventure. Stay tuned. :) |
Residency AnnouncementDecember 2021: I just got back from an incredible writing residency in Iceland where I spent the month of November writing and exploring - myself and the southern Icelandic territory. While in Iceland, I signed contracts for my next two writing residencies for 2022! Yay! In Spring/Early Summer, I will be venturing to Turkey and Finland. I am so excited to continue working on my first full novel, a book of essays, while being inspired by these two incredible landscapes. #StillThankful&Grateful |

I am proud that this article has found a home with HerStry - a favorite of mine. Click HERE to read it now. |

Stage: M*A*S*HI am very excited to announce that I will be portraying Captain Bridget McCarthy in Magic Circle's Summer (21') production of M*A*S*H. Before COVID happened, I thought about taking a break from acting. It didn't seem to bring me joy or happiness anymore. However, by mid-Summer (2020), I was convinced that notion was nonsense! I cannot wait to be back on stage and with some of the best theatre friends a gal could ask for! More info: HERE

A BIG thank you to Powerstories Theatre for asking me to participate in their weekly story series.
I was asked to submit something for their Thanksgiving edition of Positively Powerstories, based on the theme of, 'grateful' or 'thankful.' What I submitted, in less than 24 hours, was the video on the left. It's a shortened version of a post I made about my life a year ago; when I felt like I was never going to make it but now feeling grateful for those experiences and the new outlook it has given me. Enjoy! |

Between getting kicked off the basketball team & the drama of the school play, follow Felicia through her pre-teen journey to the other side, now." * Please note that this video uses adult language* |

My TEDx Talk, 'Embracing Our Humility to Expand Our Humanity,' has FINALLY been posted on Youtube! Whoohoo!
Watching this video, I am instantly transported back to that stage, earlier this year. I was nervous, mostly because I was opening the entire weekend but I also felt the pressure to be GREAT! I mean, come on, its TED! There were a bevy of technical issues; the PowerPoint wasn't working & often would cause me to bounce around off script, and there were sound/recording issues. But, I have to say, I still think I did pretty darn good despite the issues! :) Hope you enjoy! |

On August 1, we moved to Clearwater, Florida. Our second week in Florida we auditioned for, "I Hate Hamlet" at the Frances Wilson Playhouse. We really didn't think we would even have a chance at being cast (only 6 roles), and we were mostly just checking out the local theatre community but lo-and-behold, we were!
We're super excited to make our Florida debut in October. If you're in the area, come see the show! |
CRINGE PerformanceWords cannot express how proud I am of this amazing group of humans!
Our event, Cringe: A Night of Foolish Discourse on July 28th, was a HIT! Eight participants, including me and Dane, bared our teenage hearts on the stage.
